[01 TODD DAVIS]

Todd Davis is a professor of Environmental Studies at Penn State and the author of seven books of poetry, most recently Coffin Honey and Native Species, both published by Michigan State University Press. He has lived along the Allegheny Front for the past 21 years, fishing and hunting, and each summer spends several weeks in the wild spaces of Montana, often with his son Noah. His essays have appeared in Gray’s Sporting Journal, Anglers Journal, The Drake, Strung and Northern Woodlands.

[02 JOAKIM ANDREASSEN]

Joakim Andreassen, one of the creative minds behind Oppstrøms, Scandinavia’s premier flyfishing magazine, has over a decade of photography experience in mountain biking, general press and documentary work. His career exemplifies the power of visual storytelling. Beyond photography, he passionately advocates for land conservation. Originally from Norway’s west coast, Andreassen now resides in northern Norway with his girlfriend and 2-year-old son.

[03 LANE FORRER]

Lane Forrer has a diverse background in marine engineering, biology, photography and writing. Calling Quito, Ecuador, his home for the last 18 years, Forrer is originally from coastal Massachusetts and studied Environmental Biology in Colorado. He actively participates in various research and community development projects in rural Ecuador and beyond, advocating for catch and release flyfishing to benefit both data collection and local socioeconomic growth. He is a certified wilderness guide, leading tailored expeditions into remote regions throughout the neo-tropics. Due to a career at sea, Lane has been fortunate to work, spook fish and take photos around much of the globe.

[04 CHLOE NOSTRANT]

Chloe Nostrant is a photographer, writer, artist and flyfishing guide from Livingston, MT. Prior to becoming a full-time freelancer in the creative and design space, she worked at George Anderson’s Yellowstone Angler. Nostrant has built a life dedicated to exploring and collecting stories from the modern American West. Her work spans multiple genres and mediums, from poetry and prose to mixed media and photography, while drawing inspiration from the great writers and creatives who have called Livingston home. When she isn’t working on a creative project or guiding, she is running around the prairie with her two bird dogs, exploring new water, or planning out her next Harley ride—and always chasing that next story.

[05 DYLAN SCHMITZ]

Dylan Schmitz has been an entrepreneur and freelance outdoor photographer since 2013. In that time, he has lived in the Florida Keys, Cabo, Austin, TX, Charleston, SC, and Cape Cod. He still frequents all these places, but if you want to track him down your best bet is the Keys during tarpon season. If you do find him, ask about that one trip to Mag Bay. These days he does the marketing for Chittum Skiffs and All Hands Cocktails. You can find his work on Instagram at @Dylanschmitz and at www.dylanschmitz.com.
