“During a prolonged heat wave in Eastern Washington state, we turned our attention to flyfishing for carp on the flats of Banks Lake, with a bit of swimming mixed in to stay cool. Unfortunately, the smoke and haze from recent fires made sight-fishing incredibly difficult.
